Have you ever wondered why people want to own art?
Some may appreciate the aesthetic value and beauty it adds to their lives and surroundings. Others may see a painting as an investment with the potential to increase in value over time.  Then, there are those who buy paintings simply because they feel a personal connection to a particular piece or to the artist who created the painting.
    I paint for a lot of the same reasons. I seek to have peace and beauty radiate from my paintings. As for investment... time will tell, but, I can assure you much of my heart has gone into each and every piece of art.  I like creating scenes or subjects that have not existed before -  whether it's the objects in a landscape or a building that was never really built.  I also like to give life to figures who have never lived and invite them to be part of our world. Perhaps one of the landscapes, or buildings remind you of somewhere or a figure look familiar to you. I invite you to check out the Gallery where my paintings are waiting to meet you.
